The Finals of the Visit Scotland West of Scotland Thistle Awards for the Best Outdoor or Adventure Experience were held in Glasgow last week. What a great night and an honour it was to be one of the 3 finalists even if we did get pipped at the post by worthy winners Blackstone Clydesdales, Cumnock.
The following night we went one better at the Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce Business Awards (ICON) where we were victorious in the Tourism category. Absolutely delighted at the recognition of our dedication of hard work and enthusiasm to encourage the development of tourism in Inverclyde.
We are ideally located within easy reach of Glasgow Airport & Greenock Ocean Terminal for passengers to visit whether flying or cruising in to visit Scotland.
We look forward to seeing where the future takes us and increasing our International & Travel Trade visitor numbers to the West of Scotland.
