Parking is on a flat surface and there is very little walking required for both the Highland Cow Trailer Tour or the Lambing Experience.
Lambing Experiences are not suitable for expectant mums, but we look forward to welcoming you and your family in the future.
Unfortunately, the experiences are not suitable, and we strictly do not accept under 5yrs due to insurance purposes. This includes babies. We welcome you in the future with your family. Children are welcome from 5 years of age.
Yes, as we are a working farm there is a 48hr cut off for booking to allow us to plan farm work around the tours. If there is a tour running which is not full, we may be able to accept a late booking by telephone. All advance bookings are made on the website www.kilmacolmfarmtours.co.uk/booking/
We are very much animal lovers and appreciate many dogs are treated as family members, but we regret to say no dogs are allowed on the premises.
The experiences are great for all to enjoy. Whether you’re a couple, a group of friends or for a family of multi-generations wanting to enjoy a unique day out. It appeals to everybody from 5yrs – 95yrs.
Yes, we can accommodate parties, special occasions or groups. Please fill in the online enquiry form www.kilmacolmfarmtours.co.uk/contact/ stating what the occasion/group is, preferred date, time and numbers involved.
We are an all-weather experience. Tickets will not be refunded due to wet weather. Please check out the full Term & Conditions on the website.
We are a working farm, but the surfaces are relatively flat. We have had both manual and electric wheelchairs on experiences. If the wheelchair user can transfer into a car, then they are likely to be able to transfer into the farm trailer. Unfortunately, we do not yet have a trailer with wheelchair anchor points. Please read the accessibility statement on our website and if you have any queries, do not hesitate to get in touch via the online enquiry form. If local you are most welcome to arrange to see the facilities prior to booking as you know your individual needs better than we do.
Yes. We have had various customers with ASN. Groups sizes are small with a max. of 14 people per tour. We can also accommodate 1:1 Farm Trailer Tours if required. Please contact us via the online enquiry form to discuss your individual needs.
We do not have a café, however complementary hot/cold drinks are available at the end of your experience. We also have a vending machine which stocks delicious locally sourced home baking and gifts. The vending machine takes card or cash.
We offer a discount to people with disabilities and their carer. Please use the concession option for both tickets when booking online. Please note proof (DLA letter, Carers letter, Plus one travel card) may be required upon arrival.
No. Unfortunately no food or drink is allowed to be consumed during the experiences.
No. All under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult.

During the Lambing Experience everybody will get the opportunity to feed a lamb. The Farm Trailer Tour safari does not include feeding animals; however, you will get very close to ewes & lambs and Highland cows & calves for photos.
