We were thrilled to be named Scottish Sheep Farm of the Year 2025. Even more exciting, we went on to win the Overall Champion of Champions Award at the Scottish Agriculture Awards.
Being nominated three times—anonymously—means so much to us. So, to whoever put us forward, thank you. Your support truly matters. Following the nominations we were interviewed on farm by a panel of three judges for 2.5hrs. This included a safari across the land to see all classes of livestock, cropping and management carried out on the farm.
Each of the 17 category winners were then evaluated by a separate panel of judges to which we were told the decision was unanimous to be crowned Champion of Champions.
As a family farm in the hills of Inverclyde, this recognition feels very special. It shows that our hard work is being noticed. More importantly, it highlights what we care about most.
We focus on producing quality beef and lamb in a natural way. At the same time, we work to balance food production with care for the environment. Because of this, we can support both farming and nature together.
We are passionate about sharing our stories of Scottish farming to our visitors. Trailer tours and lambing experiences allow visitors to come on that journey with us and experience life on a true working farm whilst learning & having fun.
